No Dairy Added Baking

Explore our collection of no dairy added baking, handcrafted at Cakebread Artisan Bakery in Courtenay, British Columbia.

The selection includes many of our artisan breads, along with cookies and occasional cakes made without dairy ingredients. Available products may change as we introduce new recipes and seasonal favourites.

Although these items are made without added dairy ingredients, they are prepared in a bakery that regularly handles milk, butter and other dairy products. They are not produced in a dairy-free environment and may not be suitable for people with severe milk allergies.

• BREAD: For in-store pick up or local delivery only, Tuesday to Saturday.   
• All others: For in-store pick up or local delivery only, Monday to Saturday
• Bread & Cakes must be ordered by 12:00pm, 48 hours in advance.

Need fresh bread or cake sooner?
Don't give up if you're short on time. Call our bakery before placing your order—we'll do our best to help or recommend one of our freshly baked breads that are available today.

If you choose the Regular or Thin Sliced option for your loaf, please pick up AFTER 11am to allow the bread to cool sufficiently. Due to the nature of the ingredients, occasional shell or pit fragments may be present.
